About Us

It is understood that the halfway was an original coaching house and the first stop from PZ to London.
We still have some of the ye olde worlde features to give you that warm welcoming feeling in a typical country pub but now with the modern touches like free Wi-Fi.

The original pub has been developed over the years with the addition of the pub frontage, kitchens to the rear and our huge car park which can accomodate anything from Motor homes and Coachess to Steam Traction engines that occasionally visit us.

For those barmy summer days the pub has a large sun terrace with tables and sun unbrellas together with a lawned childrens area containing a sand pit and climbing frame and slide.

Recently the pub has developed the small paddock at the rear into a licensed Camping and Caravan / Motorhome park. The hard standing pitches, complete with electricity and water, are surrounded in a beautiful countryside setting and central for visiting all the local resorts. The park also offers chemical toilet disposal facilities.

The market town of Helston, home of Flora Day and Falmouth, the busy harbour town with its fantastic beaches, historic Pendennis Castle and Maritime Museum are all but 10 minutes away.

Please contact us if you wish to book at table at the Halfway House in Rame.
